1. Palestine Antiquities Department: A British entity charged with cataloging and preserving items and sites of archeological merit.
2. The Palestine Survey: A three-volume manual including population and immigration statistics.
3. The Palestine Exploration Fund: An organization still in existence today as the oldest known organization in the world. Carried out thorough surveys of the Palestinian land, people, and culture.
